Force Measurement Calibration
Recal was founded in 1989 by Bill McEuen after his retirement from the Corps of Engineers, District Laboratory in Dallas, Texas. Mr. McEuen was an active calibrator, an A2LA Assessor and a member of ASTM up until his death in 1996. His techniques and work ethics are the foundation of what Recal is today. Since its inception, Recal has strived to provide excellence in both the calibration and repair of laboratory equipment.
Our specialty is force measurement calibration with an emphasis on construction materials testing. We can calibrate up to a capacity of 600,000 lbs. in compression. All of our equipment is NIST traceable, our quality system meets 17025 guidelines and we are accredited by A2LA.
In closing, we would appreciate the opportunity to quote on your calibration needs, as well as new and used testing equipment.
The CM-2500 has all of the features you look for in a basic compression testing machine. It is rugged, compact, accurate and versatile, making it the ideal choice for either field trailer or laboratory testing operations. It is well suited for testing 6” x 12” (150 x 300 mm) concrete cylinders with strengths up to 7,000 psi (48.2 Mpa), or with optional platens, low strength beams.
